Is there parking onsite?
There is Pay and Display car park in front of the clinic and free parking available on Cecil Road
Can I get a same day appointment?
Yes, we have same day appointments for consultants, midwives and ultrasounds
What maternity services do you offer?
We’re here to help you at every stage of your pregnancy. You can get an appointment with one of our team of specialist midwives, or see a maternity consultant, in as little as 24 hours. They can help talk you through any issues or concerns you have at any time, and discuss your options for delivery too.
What gynaecology services do you offer?
We have specialist consultants on hand who are trained to deal with every aspect of your reproductive health, from issues with fertility and menstrual health to the menopause. We can also carry out a full range of tests. If you have any concerns at all, please get in touch with our team to talk through your next steps.
Can you perform ultrasound scans?
We have four dedicated ultrasound suites onsite at the clinic, offering a full range of scans for every aspect of women’s health. We can help you to find out if you’re pregnant, monitor your baby’s health during pregnancy, and also carry out any scans necessary for diagnosing gynaecological conditions such as endometriosis or to assess your breast health. Your consultant will be able to advise on which tests, if any, you might need.

3 weeks agoI’ve had such a wonderful experience with my maternity care at The Portland Hospital. From the very beginning, the level of care and support I’ve received has been exceptional. Emily and Zoe in particular have been absolutely amazing. They genuinely go above and beyond and have made me feel so well looked after, reassured and supported throughout my pregnancy. Nothing ever feels like too much trouble, and they are always so kind, responsive and caring. The whole maternity team has been fantastic. Everyone I’ve come into contact with has been professional, warm and incredibly attentive, and there is a real feeling that they genuinely care about you and your baby rather than you just being another patient. I’m so grateful to Emily, Zoe and the entire team for making my experience such a positive one. I couldn’t recommend the maternity care at The Portland highly enough. ❤️

a month agoAlbeit a delayed review; Nathan and I want to express our thanks to Zoe - we are so thankful that we got to have her as a part of our fertility experience. She went above and beyond every time without hesitation and provided us with great comfort throughout. Sadly our round didn’t end in the positive manner which we all hoped for, yet regardless, Zoe has remained in touch and has been a bundle of positivity that we’ve truly needed. HCA Hale are incredibly lucky to have her as apart of their team, and we look forward to having her involved in our upcoming treatment, with her ongoing support. Additionally, we want to thank Gavin also. He went above beyond to support our fertility journey, helping us source much needed medication when we had all but given up and for that we are most grateful.

3 months agoI cannot recommend the Portland Hospital in Altrincham enough. I am currently receiving ongoing pregnancy care there, and every single person I have met has been absolutely wonderful. From the reception team to the sonographers and midwives, everyone is incredibly kind, compassionate, reassuring, and knowledgeable. They genuinely take the time to explain everything clearly, answer questions properly, and make sure you feel listened to and supported. Even though my care journey with them is still ongoing, they have already helped me so much and made such a difference to my pregnancy experience. I feel reassured, respected, and truly cared for every time I go there. If you are looking for real support, clarity, and compassionate care throughout pregnancy, I would wholeheartedly recommend them.

a month agoCan’t recommend this place enough! EVERYONE who works here is friendly, reassuring and knowledgeable and made my whole pregancy journey a pleasure to go through. I felt calm and in good hands everytime i visited which i what i was looking for in my antenatal care. Will definitely be back here again for my next baby, thanks again to all the team who i dealt with along the way.

4 months agoHonestly, love this place. We have been coming here for blood tests and scans throughout our IVF Journey. We are now pregnant and will continue to come here to watch our miracle baby grow. Special shout out to Zoe who made the moon on a stick possible by coming in early to get me in for a scan for a specific day and time, truly grateful
