Raj is a highly experienced Consultant Rhinologist and Skull Base Surgeon who specialises in diagnosing and treating conditions affecting the nose, sinuses, and the base of the skull.
He manages a wide range of issues, from common sinus problems and nasal blockages to more complex conditions such as chronic sinus disease, nasal deformities, and breathing difficulties requiring rhinoplasty.
He also treats advanced and rare conditions involving the anterior skull base, including cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) leaks and skull base tumours, often using minimally invasive endoscopic techniques. A significant part of his work involves both functional and cosmetic nasal surgery, as well as complex sinus
procedures.
In addition, Raj provides highly specialised care for children with complex nasal, sinus, and skull base conditions, working closely with multidisciplinary teams. Overall, his practice covers routine to highly complex ENT conditions, with particular expertise in sinus surgery, rhinoplasty, and skull base surgery.

How quickly can I get treatment?
Mr Bhalla has regular clinic appointments and can usually see you in Outpatients within the week.
Treatment varies depending on what is required and if it can be done in outpatients or not
Can I have a rhinoplasty within a week of meeting Mr Bhalla?
No, unfortunately not. We require patients to have a minimum 3 week cooling off period to reflect on
their consultation and perform all research discussed in your initial consultation. You will then have a follow up consent appointment to allow you to ask any additional questions.
Can Mr Bhalla treat Paediatrics?
Yes, Mr Bhalla can see patients from birth at The Wilmslow Hospital

4 months agoVery impressed with the Wilmslow hospital and the consultant I saw Professor Vishal Madan was so nice and encouraging. He filled me with confidence with his advice. The hospital itself is a Beautiful place in the centre of Wilmslow. Parking on site for patients was adequate. I arrived 15 mins early and was seen virtually straight away. The reception area was spotlessly clean and the staff gave me a warm welcome. I am Waiting to hear from the consultant now which will hopefully be soon as I am eager to get treatment started.

2 months agoI’m writing to express my sincere gratitude for the care I received during and after my surgery today. From the moment I arrived, every member of staff made a meaningful difference. The receptionist was welcoming and reassuring, helping to ease any nerves at the start of the day. The nursing staff showed exceptional kindness, professionalism, and attentiveness throughout, always taking the time to explain things clearly and ensure I was comfortable. 6 months agoI had an amazing experience with my appointment at the wilmslow. The hospital is a beautiful building both inside and out. The waiting rooms are so comfortable and drinks are provided while you wait. My consultant Neil Jain was brilliant. My appointment felt far from rushed and I’ve left feeling very confident he’s going to help get to the bottom of what’s causing my pain. I fully recommend this consultant and hospital to anyone. 5 stars.

The staff are highly skilled, professional but also very kind and make you feel valued and human!! The hospital itself is clean, comfortable and welcoming. I would wholeheartedly recommend HCA to everyone.
