Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need any experience with Pilates or Reformer before joining?
Not at all. FÖRMÉ welcomes all levels: beginner, intermediate or advanced. Your instructor will guide you through correct form, alignment, and how to use the Reformer safely.

What should I wear or bring to a Reformer Pilates class?
Wear comfortable, form-fitting workout clothes (leggings, fitted tops). Socks with grippy soles.  Bring a water bottle, and perhaps a sweat towel. Mats and props are provided.

What’s a “flexible credit” and how does it work?
Flexible credits act like class tokens. you purchase a bundle (for instance, 3 credits) and can redeem them for classes over a time period. They offer flexibility versus fixed weekly class plans.

Can I mix and match Reformer Pilates and Group PT sessions?
Yes, one of the strengths of FÖRMÉ is that you can blend Pilates and strength training to suit your goals. The programs are designed to complement each other, so doing both is definitely encouraged.

How many people are in each class?
For Reformer Pilates, class size is capped around 8 participants to ensure personal attention. For Group PT sessions, up to 6 clients train together under careful supervision.

How do I get started?
The studio offers a popular intro offer (3 classes for £50), which is a great way to test the experience. From there, you can choose a membership or credit-pack option that fits your frequency and goals. You can book through their website or app, and they’re happy to answer any questions via email.

Can I drop in, or do I have to commit long term?
FÖRMÉ encourages flexibility. You don’t necessarily need a long-term contract, many clients operate on credit packs or rolling membership terms. However, some deeper membership tiers might offer better value if you train consistently.

I’m recovering from injury / have a health condition, can I still join?
Absolutely, with precautions. As with any fitness endeavour, it’s best to consult your physician or physio first. Then discuss your needs with a FÖRMÉ instructor, they can adjust exercises, provide modifications or advise the right class level for you.

Im not a novice to reformers and been to quite a few places in the area..but I can hands down say forme bramhall have got it right to a Tee!! The studio is stunning, but most importantly the instructor are amazing. Caroline's classes are the right balance of strength, conditioning, sculpt and stretch. She is attentive, knowledgeable and her flow sequences are carefully thought out to give you the hit, pump and mobility. I come out of her classes feeling energised and alive, especially as I suffer from thoracic back pain. Highly recommend!!! Give it go....you wont look back!!!

Fab experience and lovely location, friendly trainer and really thoughtful of my inexperience. Lovely friendly vibe and it really pushed me, felt muscles I had not used in a long while. The stretching at the end was my favourite. Thankyou

Fabulous friendly small group reformer class on lovely smooth reformers. Clean and welcoming environment with a good mix of ages attending. Lucy’s class was challenging but with options so you could do what suited your own body without feeling like it was all too much. Really clear instruction and Lucy gently corrected form when needed so there was no fear of injury. Give it a go, you won’t regret it!

I’m new to reformer Pilates and the nervous soon settled when my class started. Such a lovely studio and instantly made to feel so welcome! A nice burn for a Monday night and Connie was lovely! Cannot wait to be back and make this a regular staple or my routine!
