A truly Exceptional Obstetrician When Claire Melon was recommended to me, the lady who referred me to her said that she would have another child - just for Claire to deliver the baby, and I now understand why. There are no words to sufficiently describe the gratitude I have towards Claire, she is simply extraordinary. From the first moment I met her, all the way through the whole journey of appointments, important decisions about delivery (with both my children) - she was nothing short of incredible. Her deep medical expertise combined with her calming demeanour made me felt heard, understood and completely safe. Whilst pregnant with my second child, we moved country to Portugal and I actually opted to continue to deliver my little girl with Claire in London because there is simply no one like her and no one I trust the way I do her. I wish everyone could have this kind of experience going through pregnancy and childbirth. Her team is also wonderful to work with and Emma Ashley in particular made the whole journey such a pleasure. From going out of her way to accommodate me, always willing to help so promptly - I feel really fortunate to have had this experience. Thank you team.

Five stars are not enough for someone as exceptional as Claire. Nor are there words to express how forever grateful I am for her care and dedication throughout my second and third pregnancies (I only wish I’d known about her for my first). I have also been impressed by the support and kindness shown by her admin team, especially her PA Emma. I knew they were all cheering me on as I was in labour! Claire is not just a fantastic doctor but an incredibly kind and compassionate person who has that rare combination of excellent medical knowledge plus a great bedside manner. I feel extremely fortunate to have found her and would highly recommend her to anyone.

Miss Mellon and the whole team are just amazing! Everyone is so welcoming, polite and efficient. Plus, the practice itself is just gorgeous and comfortable.I felt well taken care of throughout my pregnancy and delivery. As for Miss Mellon herself, she was absolutely great! On top of her top class skills and experience, she is such a kind and humble person. It was not easy for me to choose the obstetrician and I saw several doctors. When I met Claire, I felt very comfortable and reassured from my first appointment and I knew straight away that she should deliver my baby. She always explained everything so well and made excellent recommendations for all my issues. She led the delivery of the baby so smoothly and efficiently that it turned out to be nothing but a beautiful experience. I'm very grateful to her and the team and can't recommend her enough.

**Exceptional Care from Claire and Team** Where do I begin! Leaving a review for Claire feels insufficient to truly express my gratitude. Claire has completely surpassed my understanding and expectations of what a consultant should be. Claire cared for me during both of my pregnancies (only a year apart) and gave me a level of confidence that no other consultant had provided. Her extremely warm and likable personality, combined with her professionalism, ensured the highest quality of care. Her unmatched knowledge of women's bodies and childbirth allowed me to take the lead in my care, resulting in two amazing birth experiences. My husband, who is notoriously difficult to impress, praises Claire to anyone who asks. If I am fortunate enough to become pregnant again, there is nowhere I would feel safer than with Claire and her team. Her team is also extremely professional, personable, and supportive. Special thanks to Emma Ashley, who advocated for me during a difficult time in my second pregnancy. Despite being four hours away from Portland, Emma ensured I received the necessary care for an iron infusion at an NHS hospital. When I met Claire to deliver my second baby in 2017, I instantly knew that she was the perfect obstetrician. She is kind, caring, knowledgable, experienced and professional. She supported me both physically and mentally throughout the pregnancy and during delivery. When it came time to birth my baby she was positive and I felt so happy with my birthing experience and remarkably safe in her expert hands. She has the best interest of you, the woman and your unborn baby in equal measures. Last week, Claire once again proved that she is a formidable surgeon in her field by performing a last minute emergency surgery for an ectopic pregnancy on me. Even though I was scared and alone I felt so safe knowing she would be doing the procedure. She has also left the neatest little scars given the circumstances. She thinks about you as a woman and how your belly will be left whilst taking utmost care to get the job done thoroughly. Emma Kirk was also fantastic for my scan and identification of the ectopic pregnancy with a lot of support and empathy at such a difficult time. Both Claire, Emma & a special mention to the wonderful anaesthetist Lorraine Hamlyn made me feel so reassured and safe in a time of such distress and heartache. Such kindness is rare to come about. From the ladies in the office, (Sarah has been incredible and also reassured me so much last week during my incredibly distressing situation) to Claire herself and all the women that work alongside her - there really are not enough words of praise I could give. They are remarkable women and I wouldn't ever dream of going anywhere else for any of my gynaecological procedures or obstetrics.
