2 months agoI recently underwent varicose vein surgery at HCA Hospital and can honestly say the experience exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I arrived, every member of staff made me feel looked after and at ease. The reception team were welcoming and professional, and the gentleman who personally guided me through the process was exceptional. A special thank you to Simon, Rachel, Julie, Stephen, Carol, Roofa, and the entire team who played a part in my care. Everyone greeted me with a smile and genuine kindness, which made what can be a very nerve-racking experience feel as comfortable and reassuring as possible. The facilities were excellent. I had a private room with a spacious en-suite bathroom, and my wife was able to stay with me throughout the day. Even she was provided with food, which was a thoughtful touch that we both greatly appreciated. The surgical team were outstanding. After the procedure, the consultant personally came to see me, explained exactly how everything had gone, answered my questions, and ensured I was comfortable. It was clear I was being treated by someone with extensive experience and expertise in their field, which gave me tremendous confidence throughout the process. Having previously been quoted an NHS waiting time of around 24 months, the difference in experience was remarkable. While private healthcare is undoubtedly an investment, having now gone through the process myself, I can genuinely say it was worth every penny. The quality of care, attention to detail, communication, and overall patient experience were on another level. Thank you to everyone at HCA Hospital for making a potentially stressful experience such a positive one. I would not hesitate to recommend your services to anyone considering treatment.

4 months agoI’m writing to express my sincere gratitude for the care I received during and after my surgery today. From the moment I arrived, every member of staff made a meaningful difference. The receptionist was welcoming and reassuring, helping to ease any nerves at the start of the day. The nursing staff showed exceptional kindness, professionalism, and attentiveness throughout, always taking the time to explain things clearly and ensure I was comfortable. Kia and Mercy were amazing! I’d also like to thank the catering and support staff, whose work behind the scenes plays such an important role in patient recovery and wellbeing, it did not go unnoticed. Please extend my particular thanks to Professor Simon Lloyd for his expertise and care. I felt in very safe hands, and I’m deeply grateful for the skill and reassurance provided. It’s easy to overlook just how much these collective efforts matter, but today’s experience reminded me how vital compassion and teamwork are in healthcare. I’m truly appreciative of everything you all did for me. With warm thanks, Paul

8 months agoI had an amazing experience with my appointment at the wilmslow. The hospital is a beautiful building both inside and out. The waiting rooms are so comfortable and drinks are provided while you wait. My consultant Neil Jain was brilliant. My appointment felt far from rushed and I’ve left feeling very confident he’s going to help get to the bottom of what’s causing my pain. I fully recommend this consultant and hospital to anyone. 5 stars.

4 weeks agoHCA Wilmslow is a great hospital ; clean, modern imaging equipment, professional staff, accomplished consultants. And, easy to get to in the middle of Wilmslow with good private parking. I couldn't be happier with my experience there. I had Arthrosamid injections on both knees for OA on the same day. Virtually painless treatment. Brilliant.
